Bio
I'm a multidisciplinary artist and technician with a focus in lighting design. I love to create and am passionate about storytelling and performance design. I have experience with carpentry, sewing, and electrical work but I enjoy lighting design the most. I particularly love designing new works and working with diverse artists telling new and important stories. I have two degrees from Pace University, one in Production and Design for Stage and Screen (BFA), the other in Women's and Gender Studies (BA), as well as a minor in History. I am also a part of the current cohort for Light in Performance at Rose Bruford College where I am continuing my studies and gaining new work experience and will come out with a Master's degree in the fall of 2025.
I hope for my academic studies to give me a better insight into conscious theatre practices and provide a different perspective to the work I hope to create. Theatre can be a wonderful tool for social justice to bring awareness to present and past issues that deserve to be talked about.
